Grace and Andy had been planning the perfect barn wedding when they contacted me for engagement and wedding photos long before the wedding. So I remember the feeling of dread for them when I got the email from Grace telling me that their original venue had cancelled on them and they needed help finding a new one. They were hoping for the same wedding date and things book quickly! Well, it turns out they were the ones on the lucky end because they ended up with one of the most beautiful wedding venues my husband and I have ever seen. Blue Horse Farm was stunning in every way, and so unique, not a cookie-cutter barn wedding.
Grace and her girls got ready in a small room off the farm house- it was stunning, as were the ladies! The guys got ready and hung out in the lower part of the barn, where the bar was also located. The ceremony was on site as well. Grade and Andy were married in a perfect outdoor ceremony. It rained on their June wedding day, but by the time we went outside for pre wedding photos, things had changed to a light mist and the rain completely let up by the ceremony. It was like it was meant to be, as was every other part of the day. Grace’s mom walked her down the aisle. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I cry at EVERY wedding whenever a bride walks down the aisle, but this one was so emotional, it really got me good.
The reception was equally perfect! The barn couldn’t have been more beautiful and we loved hanging out and watching everyone let loose and have a great time.
