I have been in contact with Mandy for several months, and I am SO glad I finally got to meet both her and Shawn a few evenings ago for their engagement session in Eau Claire! The two of them are so adorable together and I cannot wait for their wedding at The Local Lounge in just a few months! Time flies! I also was lucky enough to not just meet Mandy and Shawn, but I also got to meet their ADORABLE dog, Ruby! She’s at the bottom of this post and you do not want to miss her! Such a well-behaved sweetheart!

I also have to share with you that 10 minutes before I started shooting, I slammed my thumb in my car door! OW! It’s 3 days later and I am still using the pecking method to type HA! I have NO idea how I manged to shoot this session, to be honest with you! It must have been photographer’s high, because I didn’t think the pain was THAT bad until I was about half way home. Ha!

Anyway, these are just a few of the many amazing shots we got! Totally worth doing a session with an injured thumb! 😉
