Mandy and Shawn are married!!! I knew this was going to be a great one when we did their engagement session back at the start of summer, and it did not disappoint!
Mandy and Shawn got married on a beautiful summer day at the Local Lounge in Eau Claire. I have been so excited to shoot at wedding at this venue and this was our first one! The wedding was gorgeous and the venue was perfect! We had amazing light during the ceremony, even though the sun was getting pretty warm, Mandy and Shawn were shaded at the alter (even at 2:30 on an August afternoon)! Shawn’s face when they were announced husband and wife was probably one of my favorite wedding moments to date!
One thing I really love about Mandy and Shawn is the way the joke around with each other. They each like to make one another laugh, yet they go along with what the other wants even when they’d really rather be doing something else. I’m certainly not referring to having photos taken, Shawn ;). In all honestly though, these two were a breeze to photograph! Their love and sense of humor shows through in all their images together!
