To say I had an absolute blast at Candace and David’s Eau Claire engagement session would be a huge understatement. We enjoyed the beautiful Spring weather and laughed so much the entire time! And did we luck out with weather!! When I spoke with Candace a month ago, we didn’t know if we’d be dealing with 50″ of snow or a melted pile of mush. Luckily, we somehow ended up with neither and had a truly gorgeous Spring day!

Candace and David live in Milwaukee, but made the trip up to Eau Claire for some wedding planning business this past weekend (um hello- doughnut sampling? Sounds amazing!). I am so grateful that they were willing to make a drive for photos too!

One of the neatest things about being a wedding photographer is getting to be a part of a real-life love story and these two definitely did not disappoint. Candace and David were made for one another- just being around them was a truly joyful experience! And seeing the way the both glowed for each other, you simply could feel how genuine everything about their love is.

If their engagement session is any sign, their fall wedding at the Eau Claire Country Club will be an amazing day full of love, laughter, and pure joy. For now, enjoy a few of my favorites from their session.

Right?! Luckily it was much warmer than the snow makes it look! But still. I was in boots and leggings hah!
