Oh where do I even start? Every wedding I shoot, I fall absolutely in love with my couples and they are all so special to me. But this wedding was even closer to my hearts than the others that I swoon over. I always have the privilege of ending up adoring my couples and finding out how sweet and amazing they all are, but this wedding was different, because I’ve know all her life how sweet Julia is. She is my “baby” cousin, though maybe baby isn’t the right word for her anymore. I remember the days when she used to speak in her sweet little high-pitched voice, octaves above all the other little girls.I remember giving her extra snacks when I baby sat her (sorry, Joan haha!) because that way, I could share some too.

And sometime along the way, Julia grew up, and became not only a sweet girl, but a kind, caring and compassionate woman. AND THEN, five years ago, we met Adam. Adam is everything Julia needs in life, he somehow manages to make her even more herself that she was without him. Watching her grow by his side was all our family needed to see to know that they were two parts of one whole, completely meant to be together. The way the support each other and laugh together is simply beautiful.

Their wedding was just as stunning as them, and I did my share of crying too throughout the day. One of my favorite moments was when Adam and Julia exchanged notes before seeing each other. But even more sweet than that was their first look. The sheer joy that overcame them when they saw one another would make even a passerby know that they have the deepest kind of love. Adam and Julia, thank you SO MUCH for allowing me the honor of capturing this picture perfect day. Here are “just a few” of my favorites.

Julia and Adam- Eau Claire Wedding

I am Julia’s mom. Alisha is my very dear niece… my Godchild. The ONE child who made me want to have children of my own. These pictures made me cry!! She captured such a beautiful, special day in Julia & Adam’s life together in a way that is so personal and heartfelt! Alisha is all about making the day so perfect & memorable. I was concerned that she wouldn’t get the chance to enjoy her cousin’s special day, but somehow Alisha finds the time to make the wedding pictures a memorable experience for everyone involved, yet still find time for her husband and kids. I might be bias because I love Alisha so very much. Judge for yourself, but Alisha has a gift!!
