I was super excited when Hilary contacted me for an anniversary session and even more excited when we found a time to make it work!! I met Hillary and Matt when Hillary was a bridesmaid in Heidi and Ryan’s wedding this past April and it is always so much fun when I get to see some people after weddings for their own sessions! We met on Halloween morning at sunrise. I was of course, so excited about this plan because I couldn’t wait to catch the gorgeous sunrise in the background of our photos. But you know what they say about the best laid plans…it rained. Which left us with two options: reschedule (which is tough with a photographer’s fall schedule!) OR power through. We went for powering through and I am sooo glad we did! I couldn’t care less about not having the sun rising in the photos, these are gorgeous and I’m so happy to be able to give these anniversary photos to Hillary and Matt!
