Weddings

Kali and Steve’s wedding day had us checking the forecast from probably a week out watching for rain. When the day before the wedding came and there was nothing but sunshine in the forecast, we all thought we were good to go. Even the day of the chance of rain was so low, that we didn’t think about it. However, by the time Kali and Steve had their first look it felt like a storm was coming. It was humid, dark and windy. We all were anticipating strong weather, yet, Kali and Steve weren’t the slightest bit nervous or worried about it.That is how they were about everything all day, so sweet and laid back- just there to enjoy their day and each other.

A few raindrops fell during the ceremony, and we expected it to start coming down hard for a few minutes, but by the end of the ceremony, the sun was shining and it stayed that way the rest of the day.

If I had to think of just a couple words to describe Kali and Steve’s wedding, I would choose laughter, love, and joy. Almost every time I took a photo, someone was laughing and enjoying the day. Kali and Steve had so much love for each other and were so full of joy the entire day and it showed every second they were together. Their day was simply beautiful and FUN- it was so true to them.
