Some days – everything is just PERFECT for any photo session- the sun shining with the best glowy light the entire time, the temperature is gorgeous and warn but not too windy or hot. There’s no humidity… like it’s totally meant to be.

That is how the weather was for Taylor and Mitch’s session in River Falls on Friday evening. It was totally meant to be just like the two of them! When they laughed together, it was so obvious that they were made for one another!

One of my favorite parts about this job is engagement sessions for so many reasons! I mostly love getting to know my couples before their wedding day and we get to have a chance to practice posing (and have a few laughs) together! No exception for these two. And despite a coMiuple small glitches in the evening (through no fault of Taylor and Mitch! ) they were the BEST sports and willing to go along with all of my silly prompts and requests. That’s how I know we are going to make some magic.

And when I got home and put the images on my computer- turns out I was right! These two were perfection! I’m already so excited for their wedding which is almost a year to the day out! I don’t get to shoot in River Falls often (for sessions OR weddings), but am so glad that Taylor and Mitch provided me with the opportunity- it’s such a gorgeous town and their wedding venue (Kilkarney Hills Golf Course ) is definitely no exception- Tyler and I have had one wedding there before and are so excited to return with these two next fall.
