We didn’t start to hit up Music in the Park (the Sounds like Summer concerts) for the first time late last summer and we immediately fell in love! We have been waiting for summer to start again so we could finally go enjoy so music and treats as well as a relaxing evening walk with the boys.
It shouldn’t come as a surprised that the boy’s favorite on the evening was hitting up the 9 Degrees ice cream stand for some amazing Olson’s ice cream (YUM!) Tyler also had some super great deep fried food from the Playmakers tent. Nothing says summer in Wisconsin like hanging out outside and eating deep fried goodness.
After we were done hanging out and eating our treats, Ash way DYING to go walk on the bridge. If you know me, you know I have a fear of bridges, but Ascher’s favorite thing about Pheonix Park is that scary bridge, so of course we had to walk back and forth on it. But it did give us a chance to get a view from the concert from a little farther back. It was a perfect and relaxing evening.
And to top it off, the boys went to bed amazingly.
