As I’m getting back into the routine of blogging, I’m also noticing that I missed a lot of FABULOUSLY amazing couples and engagements on the blog over the last several years. I used to only blog weddings and then, only when I felt like there was “time.” I now understand how much fun it is to share these images in a blog post, for both myself and my couples. I’m vowing now to all my future couples that I WILL have a blog post about your engagement session AND your wedding. (And is a MUCH faster time frame than these favorites that I am rediscovering).
Andy and Grace’s engagement took place a while ago, but it will always remain one of my favorites. They introduced me to what is now one of my most favorite locations around- Hoffman Hills. I had actually NEVER been there before this shoot, but since have done MANY sessions there! I can’t get enough, it is so gorgeous. One of these, falls, I’m hoping to get a chance to hike to the lookout tower and see the beautiful view for myself- we haven’t went that direction for any of the sessions- yet!
Anyway- Andy and Grace are so much fun and their love really shines through. And as proof of that (and of how backwards my blogging was for a while…) you need to make sure you view their wedding blog post! Some of my FAVORITE images ever came from their wedding (and it was on a hazy, rainy day).
Enjoy this better late than never engagement session knowing that you’ll sessions on the blog them WAY faster in the future. 😉
