Just wow!!

What an amazing day full of love and beautiful weather! If you remember Taylor and Cameron’s engagement session blog, you know that they deserved a gorgeous day after having a downpour engagement session and then a blizzard in spring engagement session! Not only did they get a beautiful spring day, they practically got a beautiful summer day! Who would have guessed it was almost exactly a month prior that we were rescheduling their engagement session because of a huge snow storm! Just crazy!

Taylor and Cameron’s day starting in Durand where their ceremony took place. The church wasn’t their home church- Taylor’s home church wasn’t able to  accommodate the amount of people who wanted to come be a part of their day! By the time the ceremony began, it was standing room only. People were even standing outside watching, it was amazing to see so many people come support them! I got teary eyed while I was shooting bridal details when I noticed a bouquet from Taylor’s father. At first, I thought it was a floral arrangement to decorate the church, but then I saw the note in her dad’s handwriting wishing for “all her dreams to come true.” The image of the card is below, I couldn’t help it!

After the ceremony and family portraits, we went a few blocks to take their portraits by the river. It was beautiful, but standing in the sun not long after mid-day was HOT, especially for early May! And we were worried we might be dealing with snow! Taylor and Cameron were amazing sports though and put up with every picture out in the sun! Afterwards, they joined their bridal party at The Cell Block for a couple drinks and some time to relax.

When they went to Loopy’s, we drove to the reception site at 29 Pines and it was STUNNING! Every aspect of the room was beautiful and again there was more evidence of how many people were part of this day; the large ballroom was filled almost to capacity with guests who will be cheering Taylor and Cameron on for years to come.

Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day!

The note from Taylor’s dad:

I love this photo of Cameron!

Taylor’s dad is basically my hero; stepping in to help with the bustle!

Taylor’s bouquet had lace from her mom’s and her grandma’s dresses. So gorgeous!

Taylor and Cameron- Thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of this amazing day!
