I always enjoy taking photos for families, but sometimes the moments and memories are even more special.

Recently, my cousin Sarah contacted me and asked if there were any possible openings for her adorable little family. I was lucky enough to take maternity photos for Sarah and Jordan this past fall, and I LOVE when I get to follow a family through photography. What makes this session even more important though, is that Jordan is deploying next week and Sarah wanted to be able to get some professional family portraits before Jordan leaves.

This was a huge OF COURSE on my end. How could I NOT take these photos?! What an honor and a privilege it was to be able to do this for them.

And seriously, how adorable is Camden! He was such a chill 7 month old! He even hung out a bit so I could get a few portraits of Sarah and Jordan alone at the end of their session. Sarah and Jordan, thank you so much for trusting me to take these photos for you (and thanks for braving the mosquitoes!). Here are just a few of my favorites!
