Heidi and Troy celebrated their Wisconsin Fall wedding at Alluring Acres,  in New Auburn, Wisconsin, not far from Eau Claire. They included their kids in their wedding, which I absolutely loved! One of my favorite things about their wedding day is that they were able to have a private first look.

Benefit of Scheduling a Private First Look

Honestly, on your wedding day, you rarely get time to spend with just the two of you together.  So when Heidi and Troy open not just for a first look, but made sure it would be a private moment for just them, I was so excited! Private first looks create such an intimate, sweet moment between couples. Not to mention, they are often some of my favorite images of the wedding day.

A Chilly Wisconsin Fall Wedding

Honestly, this Wisconsin Fall wedding was a cold one! Alluring Acres is a beautiful venue and has the first warm and cozy getting ready quite for brides and grooms (as well as accommodations for the wedding couple for the night of and/or before the wedding- how cool is that?)! We were so grateful to be able to pop into the warmth between wedding party images.

The Perfect Dinner for a COLD Wisconsin Fall Wedding

It turns out that one of the few things Troy requested at the wedding was to be in charge of the food and he did not disappoint. The couple hired Olmstead’s catering to barbecue a full pork and it was simply amazing! Though it was super chilly outside while we ate, the delicious food warmed us all us! After 10+ years in the wedding industry, this was a first for me, but I definitely hope that it isn’t the last!
