This Eau Claire engagement session brought me so much joy! I knew that it would after chatting with Larissa, but honestly, Larissa and Sean brought me even more joy than I expected. When Larissa first reached out to me, I knew that the two of them were something special as a couple. Larissa’s personality is so full of positivity and joy and it showed from her first email. The two of them are simply delightful to be around.

Eau Claire Engagement Session | Open Field

Larissa and Sean opten to have their engagement session in the summer and we hit up two of my favorite locations. We first did some photos in a park near University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. However, when sunset began to approach, we headed to an open field that I’ve been absolutely obsessed with lately.

Open fields provide such a gorgeous vibe for photos, whether it is family, seniors, or couples. They are my absolute favorite for couples, because there is room to run and play, creating such a romantic atmosphere.

One of the things I love about Larissa and Sean is they are up for whatever when it comes to their images! I LOVE when a couple lets me play and try out new angles and poses. This is how I am able to get so many fun images for couples who want photos that really show their personality and who they are with each other.

One of my favorite photo prompts has couples run and play games together. This provides an opportunity for them to ignore the camera and just be their true selves. You can see some of these images at the bottom of this blog post, and honestly they were some of my most favorite photographs of the summer.
