I absolutely loved this Eau Claire Family Photo Session last fall. It had been chilly for a while, and then finally the morning of this family session, the sun came out and warmed us out, for at least a few minutes. Of course, just before this session, the wind picked up and it was quite cold again when we started snapping images.

Eau Claire Family Photo Session

I love getting to capture family photo sessions, but this one as a mom and daughter session was even more special. A few days prior to this session, Amanda emailed me to let me know that her and her daughter had been looking over my website to get an idea what to expect for photos, and while browsing, they saw her daughter’s two older sister’s whose photos I’d gotten to take when one of them was in my senior rep program several years back. How funny and exciting! And I LOVED that they looked over my website to get an idea what to expect out of their photos and session.

Mom and Daughter Sessions

I completely love the idea of taking some time to have a just mom and daughter session. Time goes so fast when kids are little and it can be so easy to just tell ourselves we will get photos “next month,” “next season,” or “next year.” Then the time passes and the photos just don’t happen (I know- it happens like that for me too). Taking the time to cherish their relationship with a photo session together was such a wonderful idea and an experience I hope that I can continue to provide other moms and daughters during their Eau Claire family photo sessions.
